We had Soto Betawi with rice and sambal, Nasi Goreng Iga, an Indonesian fried rice dish prepared in the Javanese style with beef ribs and prawn crackers and Es Teler - combination fruit shaved ice for dessert. The food was flavorful, but the little space felt too packed. Sambal was too spicy. The price is affordable. Excellent location close to Town Hall. I will most definitely return to try more dishes.
Halal Indonesian food in the city.
Full of flavours.
Sambal is really spicy with a kick, makes you want to finish the rice. Chicken is tender.
This is the BEST place of Indonesian Restaurant in Sydney, so delicious! I’ve already eaten there more than 15 times. My first choice when i can’t decide what to eat. If you want Indonesian spicy sambal, you must try this one.
Proud to be indonesian.
Authentic indonesian cuisine with originally vibes.
Taste was really good and similar in indonesia.
Absolutely popped off this place, very busy and for good reason because the food was so good!! Peanut sauce beef was delicious, fragrant rice was so addictive we all ate it plain as well, chicken reminded me of home cooking as well very comforting, the murtabak was good too they heated it up for us
Best indonesian food you can look for in Sydney CBD. Ayam bakar bumbu bali is definitely my go to. Taste is very authentic. It really gives a comfort space for Indonesian in Sydney. I would definitely highly recommend and always come back to it.
Wasn't a fan, may be more up your alley if you enjoy your food very spicy, definitely not for me.
Their grilled chicken was good, tender and accompanied by a lovely flavoursome sauce. The rice was decent, but the fried (not the grilled) chicken was very dry along with the beef ribs we ordered.
This place is simply awesome. I haven't been to Indonesia for years but the Padang set brought the memories flooding back. Hot sambal, cassava leaves, tender rendang & a really generous helping of rice is something I massively appreciate. Feels like I just opened a street bungkus again. Might need to visit Sydney again to eat here XD A++
